There’s several things you may think of when you hear “Suku- Shine” but these are some of the most common ones we hear:

At either end of the "S," two meaningful dots, or bindis as we grew up seeing them:
🔴 the further right point honors South Asia—a region rich with handwoven silks, block prints, one of the most vibrant cultural heritage sites, and storytelling passed through generations. From Ikat, to Shisha work, Zari embroidery, Kalamkari paintings and so many more points of inspiration—this is our South Asian foundation.
⚪ The other dot celebrates the West—a space of reinvention, clean lines, modernity, contemporary tailoring, and bold creative expression. Yes, the quintessential land of freedom as they say, but also– the land where you get the opportunities to become any version of yourself. In the world of fashion and consumer goods, it stands for new possibilities and global fashion innovation. Where else do you get to express yourself more freely?
Lastly comes the "S" that connects them both. It’s Sukushine—a fusion of culture and modernity, combining elements of both worlds for a blend that fits you.
