Why Sukushine?

Growing up in one world and later moving across continents meant always existing in the in-between — never fully belonging to one place or the other. That cultural tug-of-war, while challenging, became a source of strength and inspiration. Creative expression became the way to process and transform those feelings of duality. What once felt like a fracture between two worlds gradually evolved into a bridge — a space where heritage and modernity could meet, coexist, and thrive together.

This vision lives on in our work today: designs and prints inspired by Indian textiles, traditions, and cultural nuances, reimagined for a modern world. At its core, Sukushine's ethos is simple yet powerful — honoring where we come from, while boldly shaping where we are headed.

What is Sukushine?

Put simply, we are a slow fashion and accessories brand celebrating South Asian textiles through modern design and intentional craftsmanship. “Slow” fashion means taking time and care to design pieces thoughtfully, produced in smaller quantities with purpose. Traditional prints are transformed into contemporary silhouettes that celebrate identity, culture, and creativity.

Every piece — whether a handcrafted silk scarf, a statement bomber jacket, or a textile-forward co-ord set — is rooted in bold design. More than just clothing, the work tells stories through fabric, bridging East and West with vibrant color, innovative silhouettes, and timeless detail.
