Why Sukushine?
Growing up in India & later moving to the US as a teen, Sukalp often found herself caught between two worlds: never quite Indian enough in her home country, and never quite American enough to fit in with the cool kids in high school. Drawn to creative fields from a very young age, she turned that cultural tug-of-war into something positive and started Sukushine— a space where both worlds coexist in harmony, through clothing. The brand ethos is rooted in drawing inspiration from Indian textiles, tradition & cultural nuances, weaving them seamlessly into the modern world — it’s about honoring where we come from, while boldly designing where we’re headed.

What is Sukushine?
To put it simply, we're a slow fashion & accessories brand redefining South Asian textiles through modern design and intentional craftsmanship. "slow" fashion just means we take the time and care to intentionally design pieces in smaller quantities. We transform traditional prints into contemporary silhouettes that celebrate identity, culture & creativity.
Every Sukushine piece—whether it’s a handcrafted silk scarf, a statement bomber jacket, or a textile-forward co-ord set—is rooted in bold design. More than just fashion, Sukushine tells stories through fabric, bridging East and West with vibrant color, innovative silhouettes & timeless detail.

Who can wear Sukushine?
Sukushine is for those who value authenticity, sustainability, and bold self-expression. It’s not Indo-Western and It’s not just contemporary. It’s something entirely new: a heritage-driven fusion fashion label to let you shine—inside and out. We design for the global audience, and most of our pieces are gender fluid and season-less; meaning they can be worn year round, making them a true timeless statement piece in your wardrobe.
